Sustainability
Our measures
To ensure safe, ethical and sustainable business practices, we have implemented various measures in line with our guiding principles, in the areas of environment, corporate governance, employees, products, supply chain and others.

We take climate action very seriously and always strive to increase our contribution. Much has already been done within our company to reduce our emissions, and we strive for continuous improvement. In our supply chains, we work with external third parties and strive to constantly improve the carbon footprint of our operations.
As an internationally active trading company, we are part of a global trading chain and the challenges this entails. The qualification of our suppliers is based on strict quality requirements. Increasingly, sustainability-related aspects are also to be included, for which we joined Sedex in 2023. This allows us to analyze our supply chain in depth and to engage in a targeted manner.
Integrity and ethical behavior are close to our hearts and deeply embedded in our corporate values. Our Code of Conduct sets out our principles in our actions as a company, and regular training raises our employees’ awareness of sensitive situations and appropriate responses to them.
Our products cover a wide range. We are increasingly ensuring that we have sustainable products in our range and advise our customers. “Sustainable” can mean different things: locally produced products, alternatives to resource-intensive products, products made from residual materials or products from sustainable suppliers.
We have been assessed annually by EcoVadis since 2020 and have been able to improve continuously. Today, we are among the top 17% of companies in our industry and strive for further improvement.
We hold an Endorsement Letter of Rain Forest Alliance. This allows us to sell Rain Forest Alliance certified ingredients.
